We are Up At Night, a Canadian pop rock band based in Montreal. We started this project with a simple idea: write songs that feel honest, intense, and alive — the kind of songs that stay with you long after the lights go out.

As an independent rock band in 2025, we believe music should feel human. Not manufactured. Not calculated. Just real.

Our name reflects exactly that. The thoughts that keep us up at night. The ambition that won’t let us settle. The emotions we can’t ignore.

We’re a Montreal band writing and producing our own music, building our sound step by step. Being a Canadian pop rock band means we’ve grown up surrounded by different cultures, languages, and influences — and that mix naturally shapes what we create.

The Up At Night band is built around layered guitars, driving rhythms, melodic hooks, and lyrics that come from lived experience. Some songs hit hard. Some are more vulnerable. But all of them come from a place of honesty.

As the Up At Night music group, we handle much of our creative process ourselves — from songwriting to production direction — because we care deeply about the identity we’re building.
